Notes & Feedback from Hands-on Theory Conference 2018

The first Hands-on Theory Conference was a great success – thank you to Marjorie Raijmakers who dared to share her dream with me! A big thank you to all the exhibitors as well as the teachers and learners who supported us on this venture.

“It was SO beneficial for teachers AND learners to see so much of the Theory that they usually only read about, actually working in practice!

My favourite was the Augmented Reality Sandbox! But from the Interactive Smartboard to the 3D printer to the I/O devices for the disabled, to the surveillance systems – EVERYTHING was very well presented and fascinating.” – Denise Jarvis

Next year we’re going bigger and better so mark 4 & 5 July 2019 in your diaries so long. More info to follow!

If you would like to see what we shared at the conference, please have a look below. In there you will find a presentation on answering theory papers along with notes that can be distributed to learners. There are also questions and answers from the past three DBE papers, as well as the INDISPENSABLE Theory Summaries that give learners a solid overview of Gr 10 – 12 work.
