Well, this weekend I was in Grahamstown at the Kingswood College-hosted conference named Teach!.
I was quite privileged to have been able to attend as a speaker and have CoZa Cares and ISPA to thank for that – the opportunity being part of the competition prize from last year’s Super Teacher competition!
My presentation: The Tech Teacher’s Story – Sharing Knowledge and Collaborating Online
I was given an hour in the auditorium at Eden Grove on the Rhodes Campus to teachers of all subjects and from many different schools. I spoke about how I started teaching CAT, how I created the Tech Teachers web site and how I began creating and sharing resources and getting other teachers to do the same.
I then addressed the practicalities of sharing resources, discussed tools and techniques in collaborating with other teachers and provided some starting points for teachers wishing to collaborate with others online.
A copy of my presentation and notes are available here :

I found your presentation very stimulating. I wish we all particularly CAT teachers can adhere to the philosophy of sharing!
Well done, Mathew.
