The APS (Admissions Points System) scores determines whether or not a students meets the minimum entry requirements to be accepted into a University to continue his/her studies. Certain subjects count more than others and certain areas of study require specific scores. Most of the time, it comes down to the subjects taken to a Grade 12 (Matric) level with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) pass. Each University calculates the APS scores according to their set criteria.
I am in the process of creating an Excel workbook for my students to create various IF and nested IF scenarios based on the various University APS score requirements. I will post on the site when it is complete.
For now, here are some links to a few Universities and their APS/Entry requirements.
